Hi, I’m Felipe, the Head of Art at Havas People. I’m a Chilean Creative and Art Director based in London, with over 20 years of experience helping brands rethink their design, branding, and digital experiences—always with a focus on fresh, innovative approaches that make a difference.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with some of the industry’s leading agencies, including BBDO, Havas, WCRS/Engine, MAL/Apple, and Rehabstudio. My portfolio spans collaborations with global heavyweights like Google, Apple, Pepsico, Ford, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, Air France, Sky, DirecTV, Sony, Philips, Mars, and a wide range of startups and local heroes.
Recognition-wise, I’ve been fortunate to collect a few awards: a Cannes Gold Lion, D&AD, BIMA Grand Prix, IAB GrandPrix, Wina Festival, EFFIE’s awards for effectiveness, and some ACHAP’s awards, Chile’s advertising association.
My story begins in Santiago, Chile, where I studied design at ITESA Institute and worked with the University of Chile’s Digital Arts Media Programme to shape their design curriculum and teach web design. I started my career as a multimedia designer at EuroRSCG Chile before spending six years as Digital Art Director at BBDO Chile.
Relocating to the UK opened up exciting opportunities to work with Apple (via TBWA/MAL), +Rehabstudio, and WCRS, before I returned to Chile as Head of Digital Art at Havas. I’ve since embraced diverse roles, including Brand Director for One Mile End, an East London craft brewery, and Head of Brand Design at fintech startup Dozens. Today, as Head of Art at Havas People, I lead creative efforts for brands like Ford, Mars, PepsiCo, BECU, Adidas, Ørsted, and others across the UK, USA, Australia, and India.
Art remains a big part of my life, and I’ve exhibited digital and performance pieces around the world—in Chile, Ireland, the UK, and the U.S. Highlights include the IV Biennale at Chile’s Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, BBeyond Performance Space, and the launch of Ireland’s Titanic Building. My work has been published in Chile, Ireland, the UK, Netherlands, and the U.S.
I’m also deeply involved in Chile’s do-it-yourself punk rock scene. I collaborate with Malditacruz Records to re-release Fiskales Ad-Hok’s classic albums in deluxe formats, recovering or creating original artwork for their early works. I’m passionate about supporting emerging punk bands through creative design and helping keep this vibrant, independent music community alive and thriving.
